The preferred way to cap off a long day in Temple Bar is by way of indulging in the Irish art of conversation, and the area boasts some of Dublin’s oldest pubs where the talk comes fast and furious.
Some places suit people who want to put up their weary feet at the end of the day, with a quite drink; while others are only right if you want to get those feet moving on the dancefloor. Traditional Irish music can be heard from many pubs, while nightclubs offer a range of musical styles every night of the week.
Official opening hours are from 10.30am – 11.30pm Sunday to Wednesday and 10.30am to 12.30am Thursday to Saturday.
In addition many Temple Bar pubs have late licenses on Weekend nights.
